Hi, I'm Saurabh Kumar, a DevOps engineer working in IT. My day to day is building and running systems across cloud platforms, primarily AWS and Azure: automating the boring parts, keeping things reliable, and chasing down cost wherever it likes to hide.

The Cloud Ledger is where I write down what I learn along the way, usually the stuff I wish someone had told me before I learned it the hard way. The focus is practical: cost optimization, machine learning in production, core cloud services, and the DevOps glue that holds it all together.

What I work with

• Clouds: AWS and Azure, day in and day out.
• DevOps: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and reliability.
• Cost: making cloud spend visible and bringing it down without breaking things.

Away from the keyboard

When I'm not in a terminal, you'll usually find me traveling somewhere new, out on a bike ride, or getting lost in a bit of philosophy. I'm a firm believer that the best engineering ideas tend to show up the moment you step away from the screen.
